CZ Lightweight MX Special – Frame Number 1, 250cc, 1974

Probably one if not THE rarest mx bike i have had to sell. Only 200 factory built units were made to promote the forthcoming release of the Falta Replica. These bikes were supplied to certain dealers – mostly in the USA – with a view to sponsoring top riders in selected events to get CZ the promotional coverage prior to the release.
The machines were in all but name a works bike and featured many works parts including –
- Magnesium motor
- Magnesium brakes
- Aluminium air box
- Aluminium tank
- Works Alloy shocks
- Lightened brakes, clutch and footpegs
- Lightened Bolts
- Etc
This particular bike has been restored to the highest level with NOS parts including Jikov carburetor and even period Barum tyres. The bike has seen battle in many GPs and was the sponsored ride of Stuart Nunn.
What makes this bike incredibly collectible is the fact that it is frame number 1!! the first bike off the production line……
